It was a very interesting session - To me theatre meant DRAMA but this class changed the meaning of theatre for me.
I realised that story telling itself is a powerful medium which has all elements of theatre in it. Incidentally, I told the story that our team "played" to my daughter and she just loved it. It was an impromptu thing and she wanted it again... I realised that the story may not be the same a second time.... ( variations thoughts ideas which keep poring in)

Also helpde me realise how I could just change the tempo / mood of the situation by using theatre.
I just couldnt apply it though - my daughter and her best friend were in a tussle yesterday and after sometime, I just had to move away coz I was getting really upset...
It also makes me realise how at many points I am so much more disrespectful of my child than of others.... WHY?? I wouldnt dream of punishing somebody elses child, but my own - that seems to be not so bad.....
