Children at very young age are free and don't bother much about any image. But why does this image fade off? Do parents/elders teach them about the images or with age the 'hesitation' sets in?
While we are talking about the chocolate example, I also remember seeing some parents who ask their children to recite a rhyme/sing/say capitals of countries in front of other aunties and uncles. What do these children feel when they are asked to do this many times? Is it helping them to build social confidence? I wonder what goes on in the child's mind!!!
