meditation

Meditation :

what it does to me ?
Just after meditation, I feel fresh, ready to learn.
I could conc more thoughts which I wasnt able to do before meditaion.
While meditating , initially, I made my body relaxed, i reflected on thought that was going in my mind .
I was also feeling myself moving myself physically, freeing up myself. Lot of ideas sparked in my mind. I felt I have become more open about the thought that I am thinking of.

I am more aware of my thought process after meditation. Rahter I become aware of it, while meditaiting.

I am very much confused abt HOM topic. I am having the feeling that I havent understood enought what the topic is.
I had 2 major questions in my mind.
1. How do I become aware of what is HOM? Or whatever way I am behaving, there is an HOM behind it and whats that HOM.
2. How do I change my HOM to my use.

Havent got the answers yet, still exploring, but one of the ways could be,
Meditate on your thought process. It makes me aware of what direction I am going. Even if its some incidence which is their in my mind, I beocme aware of what am I thinking, on what lines and what could be different aspects of it.

I read defintions abt meditaiton on net. I didnt realise whats meditation in terms of yoga. But this is what I can use meditation for myself as of now.
I am now aware that I have this tool too in my toolbox, for thinking creatively.

Next question is : Why should I ask kids in my session to do it ? Actually this is where I started from.

Everybody might be doing meditation differently. Each child will do it differently.
But my gut feeling says that they would definitely be relaxed, conc more, and beocme more aware of themselves when I get my students to meditate when starting the session. Or atleast it would settle them down.
