Need someone who is Montessori trained or has worked with young children for
at least 2 years. Very good communication and conversational skills with
excellent English. Preferably lives nearby - in and around the RT Nagar area
or has own transport. Open to leaning new ways of interacting with children
and different ways of doing things. Must have respect for children and be
able to work as a part of a team. Good organizational skills a creative
thinker.
Timings 8.30 to 3.30 pm. Preschool programme in the morning till 12.30 with
childcare in the afternoon. Teachers are given half hour for lunch and 1hour
for planning in the afternoon. Basic is 6000 with added amount for
qualification and experience. Salaries can go upto 8 -10,000 depending on
qualification and experience.
Plus medical and casual reimbursements plus extra for 3 weeks holiday
workshops for kids plus bonus plus insurance cover. Extra for specialist
classes. 4 weeks of holiday with pay. Training programmes from time to time
Gaia has children from over 16 nationalities. Ratios in the classroom are on
a average 5 kids to to 1adult.
